Dear Mr McLeod

Your letter of June 12th caught me up yesterday. I have been out visiting stations & missions & so my letters accumulated at Alice Springs.

About publishing my report, I would like to send a copy to Mr. Anderson and Mr. Hasluck before it is published & also make a few alterations or clarifications. * I have not had anyone to do any copies and only have one with me which I have shown to a number of people who are all very interested in it but the questions they ask show it needs clarifying. I will do this as soon as I return to Sydney — about 7th and airmail you a copy. I don’t mind you showing the copy you have to anybody.

Please let me know fully what Mr. Jenkinson said. I will be going to Canberra as soon as I have completed my full report & I may be able to help you there. The C’th Social Services should surely be available as a right.

I hope your people at Port Hedland received the photographs I sent them. Please remember me to them & say that my few days at their camps are among my most memorable experiences.
